Introduction

 

Designed with magnetically actuated reed contacts, this multi-point float level switch offers 1~4 switch channels and dual NO/NC contact modes, enabling multi-position threshold control for liquid media. The contact load is rated at maximum 230V AC 70VA and DC 50W, with dedicated 24VDC 150mA parameters for explosion-proof variants.

The device supports a medium density threshold of ρ≥0.5 g/cm³. Users can select standard Φ19 guide tube & Φ75 float or customized smaller Φ14 guide tube / Φ52 float; the maximum overall length can extend to 3000 mm. Wetted components support a full range of anti-corrosion materials from stainless steel and titanium to plastic PVDF/PTFE, adapting to diverse chemical working conditions.

With a wide ambient temperature range of -30 ℃ to 75 ℃ and process pressure up to 4.0 MPa, the IP65 coated cast aluminum housing guarantees stable outdoor and indoor installation. Multiple process connection forms including flange, thread and bracket are reserved. Optional Ex d II C T4~T6Gb explosion-proof certification allows installation in flammable and explosive process areas, widely applied for fixed-point level interlock and alarm control of industrial storage vessels.

Product Applications

 

Multiple magnetic reed switches are mounted inside a non-magnetic guide tube. Hollow floats with built-in permanent magnets slide along the tube and move up and down with liquid buoyancy.

When the float approaches a reed switch, magnetic force closes the contacts and outputs an ON signal. As the float moves away, the contacts open to send an OFF signal. This structure enables multi-point switch output for level alarm and remote control.
