How It Works
The basic principle of the magnetostrictive level meter is that the float with magnets moves along the measuring rod containing the magnetostrictive wire. The voltage pulse emitted by the electronic components is conducted along the magnetostrictive wire. When the pulse wave reaches the float magnet, the pulse wave and the magnetic field interact, causing the magnetostrictive wire to be twisted and generate an echo, which conducts back along the magnetostrictive wire. According to the propagation speed and time, calculate the distance from the floating ball to the induction coil, so as to calculate the liquid level value.
Applications
The magnetostrictive level transmitter is a two-line liquid level meter. It is used for liquid level measurement with high-precision requirements. It is suitable for explosion-proof and non-explosion-proof requirements. There are two kinds of measuring guide rods: rigid rods and flexible rods.
The rigid rod magnetostrictive level meter can measure the container level alone, and can also be used with a magnetic level gauge to measure the level, so that the level meter can adapt to the requirements of higher temperature medium measurement level.
The application fields of magnetostrictive liquid level meters are very wide, including: petroleum, chemical industry, power environmental protection, industrial processes, biochemicals, medicine, food and beverages, tank management, underground inventory of oil stations, etc.
