How It works

The working principle of the magnetic level gauge is that the measuring instrument shares the same fluid with the container, so the liquid level is the same. The level gauge is installed on the container and directly contacts the fluid to be measured. There is a float in its internal chamber, and the float is equipped with a magnetic component inside. The float floats on the liquid surface. As the liquid level rises or falls, the float will move accordingly. When the float moves up and down, the magnetic component will drive a series of dual-color magnetic baffles to rotate, thereby changing the color of the indicator installed outside the chamber.
Because the working principle of magnetic level gauges relies on the interaction between magnets, they do not require power. They also need almost no maintenance. Another advantage is that the magnetic force of the indicator can affect the optional switches or transmitters installed outside the chamber. The color baffle can be clearly seen from a distance, and when used in conjunction with the scale, precise readings can be achieved. For any liquid level instrument, the size and material of the float are selected based on the medium, temperature, pressure and density of the process medium.

Applications

Chemical and Petrochemical Industries

Suitable for acid, alkali, and solvent storage tanks, as well as reactors and process vessels.

Oil and Gas Industries

Ideal for underground storage tanks, separators, condensers, and crude oil storage systems.

Power Generation Industries

Used in applications requiring high-temperature, high-pressure stability, such as boiler feedwater tanks, deaerators, and condensation systems.

Water and Wastewater Treatment Industries

Suitable for reservoirs, treatment tanks, and underground storage tanks with limited side access.
